Legitimate Interest

Communications: you will only receive communications if:

We obtain your express consent before sending you any communication; you may request that we stop sending you communications at any time by emailing info@cryologistics.be.

Purpose: we will only use your data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we must use it for another reason, notifying you in advance so that you are informed of the legal reason for its processing, and provided that the purpose is compatible with the original one.

Retention Period: The retention period for personal data will vary depending on the service you contract, being the minimum necessary and may be maintained:

  • 6 years in accordance with Article 30 of the Commercial Code (accounting books, invoices, etc.)
  • 5 years in accordance with Article 1964 of the Civil Code (personal actions with no special time limit)
  • 12 months in accordance with Article 5 of Law 25/2007, on the retention of data relating to electronic communications and public communications networks.
  • 4 years: Law 5/2000, on Social Order Infractions and Sanctions (obligations regarding affiliation, registrations, cancellations, payment of wages). Article 66 et seq. General Tax Law (accounting books, etc.)

 

YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

How to exercise these rights?You may send a communication to the registered office of CRYO LOGISTICS or to the email address info@cryologistics.be, including in both cases a photocopy of your ID card or a similar identification document, to request the exercise of the following rights:

  • Access to your personal data: you may ask CRYO LOGISTICS whether it is using your personal data.
  • To request their rectification, if they are not correct, or to exercise the right to be forgotten with respect to them.
  • To request the restriction of processing; in this case, they will only be kept by CRYO LOGISTICS for the exercise or defense of legal claims.
  • To object to their processing: CRYO LOGISTICS will stop processing the data in the manner you indicate, unless for legitimate reasons or for the exercise or defense of potential claims, these must continue to be processed.
  • To data portability: in the event that you want your data to be processed by another firm, CRYO LOGISTICS will facilitate the portability of your data to the new data controller.

You may use the templates provided by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) to exercise your aforementioned rights.

Lodge a complaint with the AEPD: if you consider there is a problem with the way CRYO LOGISTICS is processing your data, you may direct your complaints to the corresponding supervisory authority, which in Spain is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights mentioned above). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.

We resolve all requests within the indicated legal period: 1 month. However, it may take us more than a month if your request is particularly complex, or if you have already performed a series of previous actions. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

 

 

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

In the performance of our work, it may be necessary for us to share your data with third parties:

  • Service providers that provide system administration and information technology services.
  • Professional advisers including lawyers, consultants, auditors, and insurers who provide banking, legal, insurance, and accounting services.

We only allow such processors to process your data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
